Johnny Carr is an accomplished actor and voiceover artist from Newcastle, Australia. He is known for his earthy, nuanced performances and his vast emotional range. 

He is a series regular on Five Bedrooms for Paramount Plus and recently starred in Wellmania for Netflix and Summer Love for ABC. He co-leads the feature film Strange Creatures which is to be released early next year. He co-created and starred in The Greatest Love of All that won best foreign web series at NYC Web Fest. 

He has performed leading roles for Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, Bell Shakepseare, Belvoir, Malthouse, Griffin, State Theatre Company of South Australia, Black Swan State Theatre Company of WA as well as performing at Melbourne International Arts Festival, Sydney Festival and Adelaide Festival. 

He is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, a recipient of the Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship and trained at École Philippe Gaulier in France.
